I buy nothing but Savane slacks (always pleated) for work. Now that I'm retired I needed a more casual pair. I ordered these jeans and was very satisfied when I wore them. I wear a 56x30 and the work slacks have a ~4-in. elastic band over the hip area to give that extra stretch. Unfortunately, those bands wear out after a year (my slacks are professionally cleaned by the best dry cleaner in town). However, I was surprised to see that these jeans have some sort of sewn in elastic all around the whole waist (see the orange band in photo). The fabric itself is light and has some stretch, so the jeans are very comfortable to wear! The inside pocket material seems a little frail and I wonder how long before a I poke a hole in it, but I'll deal with that when the time comes. The pant label says 81% cotton/coton, 17% poly and 2% spandex. This is my third pair of the very same jeans. The first I had for a number of years and they had begun to look faded more than I liked. Therefore, I bought the second pair, making sure it was the same product. Unfortunately, after about 5 or 6 months, the zipper broke. Undaunted, I bought the third pair of the same jeans. So far, I have been very pleased! If you are looking for stretch denim jeans, you've found them. These come with a spandex belt around the waist that really makes these jeans work with you when bending over. The fabric is also stretch denim but it is light weight vs a Wrangler 501, as an example. Unless you're using these as a working mans jean, I don't have an issue with the lighter weight material. They appear to be of decent quality. The ones I got were towards the large size for the size I bought which is a good thing. I'll probably be buying more during the spring time.My son says that these are stretchy and comfy. He likes the material softness and how they fit him. He is hard to fit and also very picky about itchy clothing and clothes that feel too snug. These were exactly as he likes his pants.Found these to be sized as stated. Elastic waist band keeps shirts tucked in and is easy to be comfortable in when moving. Pockets are large volume. Very durable. Fading limited. It fit perfect. It ready stretches well in every direction. I’m in construction and I need to bend, kneel, stoop, climb, crawl everywhere. So these stretch denim pants is by far my favorite I’ve boughtThe pants are a little on the thin side but are very comfortable. I gave this 3 stars because the black pants didn't look like the photo. They're all black. A flat black color. The picture shows a shiny black with white stitching which these pants did not have.I had ordered these Savane jeans 2 other times in different color finishes and they fit just right. So when I ordered these in Dark Rinse, 36W - 36L I assumed the same excellent fit. To my surprise, I couldn't even get them all the way on before I knew that they were extremely tight, so I guess these were mis-labeled at the manufacturer. They are at least a size too small in the waist. They are more like a 34 waist than a 36 with the stretch waistband. I count not get them around my waist, and the length wasn't the nice full length that I am used to with these jeans. I will be returning these.I had some specific questions about these pants, which I posed through the question portion of the seller. The answers I received were completely inaccurate. This is unfortunate, as I have purchased Savane khakis in the past that fitted nicely. These jeans were so bad, I was forced to put them in a drawer and forget about them.Item received on time - actually slightly earlier than expectedput them on found them to be a 'little too baggy" for my liking when compared to the other jeans I have ordered but they are still worth the buy - decent material - I agree with one customer that the pocked material is somewhat thin but hey it is what it is and I am not sending these back - wearing them as I type this summaryThank youThis pair is the 2nd pair purchased - Savane makes a good quality pair of pants even though they are a knock off of Levi or Wrangler. I like the fact that they are roomy and move with you and the stretch factor is great especially around the waistband which makes it very easy to pull up without undoing the belt at all times.Thank you - ps the 3rd pair on already on orderThe material is very thin. I'm replacing a previous pair that wore out in the crotch and decided to hold these up to a light before wearing them. A lot of light comes through, hopefully this pair doesn't wear out faster than the previous ones...The front pockets on these jeans are extremely shallow. On top of that, the fabric they use is some kind of thin polar fleece, and the stiches dig and break the fabric at the bottom of the pockets. Had the jeans for just 2 weeks, and I'm already loosing my lighter on the floor.. looking at the stiches, the other pocket is close to having the same problem. Stay away, unless you don't use pockets, I guess..
