The shaft is really tall. Hits right at the back of my knee. The picture only showed one side and even reversed the image making it look as if there was a buckle on both sides. There isn’t but they zip all the way down past the ankles. Also the shaft is wide but not so much that I can’t make it work. I bought the black and burgundy in size 11 although I wear a 10 so I could insert insoles. The are very comfortable so far.Just just loved the boots.Loved the picture- when I opened the box it smelled like plastic. It was beyond cheap. There is plethora and then there is - cheap plastic non form fitting boots that you can’t even call boots. They fell right down and were a really sad purchase! Only had to open the box and try one on to knowI got duped!People aske me where I get them.I like the bulls they fit well they were a little big in the calf area but other than that they were wonderfulThe boots are a great fit and design, but the buckle is gold tone and I would have preferred silver accents.
