I bought this vest for my brother as a gift (I know great gift, right?). He really loves it. Great for doing outside work in the fall and spring, looks good, and wears well. All the features you'd expect from Carhartt.My husband had this in the cart and so I ordered it. He told me when it came that he thought it was a little to expensive and was not going to buy it. He is so glad I got it! He wears it outside with the dogs every morning. It is perfect for out by the fire in the evenings. Just the right weight for our mild Tennessee weather. Glad I didn't wait till Christmas to give it to him. Worth every penny! Very durable and well made!My guy wanted a Carthart vest for a while I couldn't find one at Xmas anywhere at stores near me. I didn't know Amazon carried Carthart! We had a ongoing discussion( argument) over the length I felt it was gonna be short so when I saw Amazon carried Tall Man sizes which he isn't but this would add alittle in length if you check the size chart I thought this would be Perfect! Him not so much. I ordered the Large but in Tall it was (surprise surprise) absolutely perfect!Warm, roomy (large size), fits just right. Good for mid-October through the end of April in the Northeast. You (of course) must wear an insulated coat (for very cold weather) or a waterproof shell (for milder weather) over this vest. Carhart quality. The vest will last for decades.Carhartt doesn't need much of an introduction... this is reasonably heavy but very durable fabric, with just enough insulation to add warmth without the puffy Michelin-man appearance. The zipper is also fairly heavy-duty without being cumbersome, and the vest fits fairly close to the body (over a sweatshirt). Nice pockets, and easy to get at -- with no spangley do-dads or other fashion bobbles hanging off the vest. Not the least expensive vest, but certainly one of the higher quality and durable ones.SUPER great item, has a little looser chest area which is great so you can wear a sweater underneath it. Fits right below the belt which is good as it then lifts up when you lift your arms. Durable and lasts awhile which is always why I buy themTried to buy this brand at home depot & tractor supply. Although this brand carhartt is difficult to find, and it's understandable.I looked up the carhartt website itself to measure myself before ordering the wrong size.The item arrived in New condition, and fits beautifully.The outside is the usual, but the interior is amazing feeling when layering yourself in the cold.Big fan of carhartt clothing.A little larger than I expected but great feeling.As per Amazons size guide I ordered a size down and as such the garment ended up being just a little too small, like I couldn’t have anything other than a shirt underneath before it would be too tight. Maybe it’s the quarantine weight, maybe the sizings are to blame, maybe he’s born with it, but I would consider myself a relatively average weight with a larger frame. If that sounds like you, I would order your regular size, especially if you want to layer it.Having spoken to their very helpful customer service team and organised an exchange I’m happy to say that the sizing issue has been resolved. At time of review I have sent the prepaid package back and awaiting the newer, larger vest. Would recommend their shop.I ordered this product as found this seller had the best price. When it arrived, it was actually a bigger fit than expected. Returning this back to the seller was very easy (and free) I was kept updated via messaging and had a new size sent back out in a few days, which now fits perfectly.
