Be careful of this "Original Fit" style. A better name would be "Clown Pants" the legs are cut so wide. Like bellbottoms. Great if you want to get them on and off with work boots on (not sure why you would), but they look ridiculous, even when the fit is close to right.Work as building superintendent. Good fit.These were nice pants but a little on the baggy side. Prefer the pants to be more form fitting.Hi everyone, I have a few of Carhartt jeans, shirts and just purchased a winter coat. I absolutely love all of Carhartt products! I have never had any problems with anything made by Carhartt. These jeans I purchased are rugged, well made, well stitched and fit me perfectly. Of course there are some complaints about Carhartt and every single product out there is going to get some no matter what. But I am very happy with Carhartt products and I would highly recommend these jeans and all of the Carhartt line!I've only had these pants for about a month, but they were soft and comfortable from the start. The denim seems very durable - I almost ordered the 15oz. denim "Signature Jean", but I think these will be fine - and their long-term durability will be the fifth star. Sizing seemed fine contrary to other comments I've seen - I ordered the waist size one inch larger than normal (thank you Carhartt for odd waist sizes) and they're perfect. One warning about the otherwise generous and very useful pockets - the right leg double pocket is really one pocket with two openings. If you put your cell phone in one opening as I do, don't put a sharp tool in the other opening! By the way, this pant is the exact same pattern as the "Signature Jean" and the washed duck work dungaree - only the material is different. So take your choice - I don't think you'll be disappointed by any of them as everyday work wear. As usual the Amazon price and delivery were excellent.This is the only pants I buy for work now, i'm a bit on the heavy side, the legs fits well with plenty of room to move around, squatting or kneeling, good belt loops never broke ever with everything I attached to them. I buy them two pairs at a time so I can switch them out every other week to even out the wear.Important features include:Denim is just the right weight... Not to thin or thick.Fits as expected, comfortable standard waist and carpenter fit.Comfortable “ballroom” fit.The right number, size, and placement of belt loops.Deep front pockets made of good strong weight fabric.Quality zipper of correct length.Good build quality throughout.Made like the manufacturer (CARHARTT) still remembers what means...Very disappointed Carhartt. Your quality went downhill so much that the belt loop detached and ripped with a quarter sized hole in the fabric. WTF Carhartt? What a waist of my money.you the carthart denm that i can buy i hae nly one time to fit but in after washng the denim that i can buy is totally damaged now i can not alreary waer beacause it is totally damage...Too baggy
