Fabric was a lighter weight than ones I am used to.Levi’s notoriously has got issues, even on their standard cuts. Depending on the wash, the fit of the 501s can vary greatly. I found one wash to fit completely as expected, while another is so baggy in the thighs, they look like 1920s aviator pants. Also the leg opening could vary by an inch.Even with free returns, it’s almost not worth purchasing online unless you know the wash offers the fit that works for you.Nice and good quality!!Great jeans! Ive been losing some weight and these show that loss in all the right places.Great fitI’ve gotten many compliments about these jeans. I love the 501 line. I was starting not to like them just because they started to feel a little skinny. But it just turned out I needed to get 2 sizes up around the waist. Which in turn makes the legs wider. So I went from a 30x32 to a 32x32. Didn’t get fat or anything just that my body got wider or something. The 30s fit pretty tight around my waist now and the 32s fit just right with a little bit of room. I’m 5’7, about 160lbs with an athletic build. I wear nothing but 501s and dickies! ?Fantastic Jean's ( but ) be aware the Jean's you are ordering are from the United States, so sizes are somewhat different!! To say the least... I ordered a 29 leg, they turned up a 33 leg.. and my waist is 32 so thinking they would fit,,, they didn't!! I couldn't get them over my hips... it's like they have got the measurements all messed up.. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with the service I have received, Jean's are lovely but dont blinking fit... I waited a long long time for my Jean's to arrive and don't perish the thought of having to return them to the States and waiting probably months for my correct fitting jeans to arrive, if you could send me my correct fitting jeans as I ordered, It would be very much appreciated ,Thankyou,Mr EverittWorthingEnglandBn126hd.these original 501 in blue or back are not as I expected.the material is thinner.the colours are not as I expected. Choose these carefully.the cut, size, fit and buttons are as 501.Good value jeans. I thought they would be black but they are dark blue. They were a bit long but that suited me as I turned them up.Good value for money.You know what you're getting with Levi's and these are genuine 501s, exactly same as the ones I bought about 4 years ago but with that new look and feel.
