I purchased the 1 1/2" extra-long (button attachment) in black. This is my first pair of Welch suspenders AND first pair with the button attachment. Initial impressions were very favorable and only got better. These are well made, thicker and stronger than other brands I own. The color (black) is deep and even. The leather on the button attachments is well cut and looks like it will last. Within the first hour, I decided that I will never buy anything other than button-on braces. No more clips coming loose in back, requiring the awkward re-attachment dance. These are all-day comfortable. I also like the 4 attachment points, very nice. I'm sold, give 'me a try!My husband has been using these for YEARS. he just loves them he just ads the buttons to his pants and he is ready to go. They are long lasting, various colors and a good product. these are long enough for my long bodied husband and that makes him happyHolds pants up. Pants don't fall down. I much prefer buttons added to pants to use this kind of brace (UK) / suspender (US) as the clip type tend to let go often at bad moments.These black suspenders are somewhat stretchy, so they are now adjusted in a fashion that the metal clamps that control the adjustment are reaching farther up my torso. They are not so stretched out that they look like pasties, so far so good.Buy Filson for a top of the line suspender . . . I believe that my Filsons have actually shrunk a bit. I bought the tall/long size, so they still fit my 6'3" frame.These don't work at all as adjusters are junk. While the rest of the suspenders are well enough the adjusters are stamped crapVery heavy duty, good stretch and good fit. A bit hard to button initially, but my experience with this brand suggests they will loosen up and become much easier to button.As I expected this item came quick with no damage, is part of my collection, and is in use.I Really enjoy using it.Nice
