These boots are great they are super comfortable to walk and ride in and for the price they are well madeFirst I tried another style by White Mountain called ‘Mazed’ that had this wonderful stretchy goring as an integral part of the design ,so it didn’t look like a slim boot trying to fit a large calf , and was very happy ! Comfortable and cute ! That first pair was a little short to be considered knee high but this boot is taller and has a more riding boot look . I chose brown because it was available and I went up to a size 11 since that was all that was available at the time . Happy on both fronts ! The mazed boot that I have is a 10 and is a perfect fit while the eleven is a TEENY BIT big . The width is perfect for my 17 inch calves and I did not order the wide calf option . I added insoles for arch support and could use any sock or none at all . Will be checking back for black in this boot for certain.This is a really nice pair of boots. I bought them for winter, as I have recess duty and don't want to wear my snow boots to school. Wore them out to duty and they are nice and warm! Just as good as my snow boots. There is the perfect amount of wiggle room in the toe box, so no squeezing there. On the other hand, the ankle is roomy, so they do a little bit of rubbing. I'll probably just get something to fill that space in.After a full day of duties and walking through the school halls my feet aren't the tiniest bit sore.Love my boots. Glad I bought them.I gave this 4 stars because the calves were big. Overall the fit and height were perfect. If you have thinner legs I don't suggest these boots. If you have fuller legs and calves they would fit just perfect. Don't get me wrong they were cute, to bad my calves weren't fuller. They shipped super fast.I sized up half a size because it was $50 cheaper (7.5w) and they fit great still. Theyre water resistant/snow resistant, the hardware is solid and doesnt look cheap at all. The leather is has a nice soft sheen to it and is very thick. Highly Recommend!White Mountain is one of my fav boot companies. I have several different styles and they are always a perfect fit. Idk what people are talking about when they say the calf's are tight. They are completely elasticized and the buckles are adjustable. I'm def not tiny but rather average in my calf size and did not have to adjust them at all. Super warm and stylish. Love these boots.These boots are really nice and comfortable too! I wore them for the first time at a party and I’ve gotten so many compliments. I have very skinny calves but with these boots along with some leg warmers it’s the perfect fit with leggings. Of course it keeps me warm and they look great. Yes! I would definitely recommend buying these.Fits great! Got a size 10 and they’re just right. Love these boots. They’re stretchy so helps when I gain weight and my calves get bigger.
