These boots are my absolute favorite. The tan color went with everything. One winter/fall/early spring of wearing them probably 3-4 days a week… they were scuffed up pretty bad. But I’m ordering another pair as soon as they’re back in stock! The gold accent chain dressed them up just enough to make any outfit a little fancier. I probably have an average /somewhat muscular sized calf and they were pretty snug, just an fyi if you have larger calves.I usually wear an 8 1/2 I got a 9 so I could wear them with me Knitted socks however they’re pretty tight on my feet with just regular socks. And the left boot zips up a little bit tighter on my left calf and the right one. Still pretty comfortable. I have skinny legs and most riding boots always have a huge gap in the calves. I did add something padding in them but that is because I'm constantly on my feet! I get so many compliments! They fit well they are the most comfortable boots I have ever had! I understand that the original packaging sometimes gets damaged, but part of the fun of getting new shoes is the un-boxing. The lack of tissue paper, and proper sized box cause rub marks on the boots which I hope I can polish out. Because of supply chain issues I can't get another pair. With these boots, I'm getting latent feelings of "I've been worn." It's as if you served me a steak for dinner on a garbage can lid.
