LEE Men's Big & Tall Modern Series Straight-Fit Jeans - Comfortable Stretch Denim Pants for Casual Wear & Everyday Use

Recently, I've gotten too fat for the jeans I've worn for years, so I needed to look for the next size up elsewhere. I've never worn relaxed fit jeans, so I thought I'd give these a try. They seem to be OK - they fit fine - but there are some peculiarities:1. The fabric is thinner than the ordinary jeans I'm used to. They're not TOO thin, really, but they're noticeably thinner. And I like a thicker material for jeans.2. Brand new, they look like they've been worn for awhile, with the fabric badly faded on the thighs and knees. I suppose that's style? I don't really know - I don't pay much attention to such things - but they'll show the dirt right from the start, and I can't imagine what they'll look like after they've been washed a couple of times. (Note that I have NOT washed these, not yet. So I can't say anything about how they'll hold up.)3. The zipper is surprisingly short. Yeah, it seems funny, doesn't it? But if you plan to pee standing up,... well, just keep that in mind. It's a little bit of a struggle to get the equipment out of that small opening.4. The waist is low. (That might be the reason for the short zipper, I suppose.) It's not uncomfortably low for me, but it feels a bit peculiar. That probably depends on your body shape and what you've become used to, though. This is probably the least important of these admittedly-minor issues.None of these things are a big problem, but... I probably won't buy them again. The jeans are OK, but with all of these minor issues (for me; they might not bother you in the slightest), I'll try another brand/style next time.I LOVE the fit of these jeans. I bought a pair of the Lee Modern Series several months ago and forgot all about it. I had put it away as I had been trying to loose a couple lbs and then forgot about them. So glad I found them again! In fact, I got a 2nd pair for my birthday and added 2 more to my wish list for Christmas. I generally buy a 48x34 in the Lee custom fit jeans. I usually end up with that gap in the back of the waist band caused by a bit to much junk in the trunk. The custom fit jeans I really like but the look of these ones I bought are great. Flip them inside out for wash to help maintain the color. Will see how they hold up quality wise, but I've worn my other Lee's in the past for a couple years before they start getting tears.I must admit, I am fat and need to lose about 80 pounds. But these jeans did not make me look like the model in your listing, and now I am in therapy. I now eat only rice cakes with a light spread of air for flavor. Hopefully the next pair of jeans I purchase will be a size 36 instead of a 46.Great looking jeans and they have the perfect boot/shoe cut, but the ones I buy from Amazon tend not to be as dark as the ones I get directly from Lee.com. The dye lots always seem to be slightly different. Otherwise, the stitching is high quality and the particular color looks high end.I have bought 2 pairs of these jeans so far and love them. I love that you can move in them and not worry about it ripping. They seem to be pretty durable as well. Will definitely be buying more.
