I take a 36 inch waist and 32 inch leg. In that, the fit of these pants was proper. However, though I am fairly trim, the pant thighs were rather snug while I was standing and very tight, uncomfortably so, when sitting, and that was without putting my small tablet computer in the cargo pocket. I could imagine how tight they would have been if I had the tablet in the pocket, so I did not even bother trying.I therefore returned the pants. I think that only someone who is rather skinny, instead of just trim, could comfortably wear these pants, and that is especially so for those who want to use the pants for carrying something that would cause increased tightness in the thighs area.The fit was as expected. They fit me well and look well. I wish they had more colors. I gave these .pants a 4 star rating down from a 5 star after I wore them a while because the zipper is too short. It should be an inch or two longer. It makes using the restroom kinda a pain that a longer zipper would have negated.My husband loves his. He has a pair in the darker color as well. The only complaint is that they seem to be just a smidge too long in the leg (he is 6'3) but not so much that it's really noticeable. They are sturdy and hold up well after many washes. Would highly recommend.My husband wishes the waist would come in 35's because the 36's become too loose as they are worn...expected for a cotton fabric...but a 34 would be too tight. We also wish we could order another color but this is all that Amazon has right now. We just ordered 2 more.I wear Lee regular fit 33/30 for everyday jeans. These fit the same. Not super slim, just a little modern through the legs. Thigh up to 22". I wear them doing yard work, fishing, hiking, wash well, seem to hold up to crawling around, dirt and light abrasion, look and feel good, light weight.Nice, light weight summer cargos. I would give these a 5 except the legs are too tapered and so the bottoms don't fit over my hiking boots. Take out the lower leg taper and I'd give these a 6.Great materials, color, and craftsmanship! Wish they came in more colors! A little tight in the waist measurement 32s usually fit me a little looser! Would purchase again though... more colors please!My husband always has a hard time finding pants that fit since he has such a slim build but these fit real good and look good on him. I ordered a second pair just a different color and they were too long and too tight. I re-ordered another pair in just a size larger but shorter so I'm hoping they will fit as good as the first pair did. It's a shame that you cannot rely on the size anymore.
