I brought these about a size or two bigger and i'm so glad I did! My husband tried it on and we had to roll the hem up about three times....after I washed it it did shrink some. We no longer need to roll up the hems. But he loves it and so do i!!! I don't have to worry about him showing plumber Crack when bends over or under the car. The pockets come in handy n for his toolsI normally purchase 4-5x in pants for my husband, or 50w/33L and I purchased this about two sizes larger. It was very roomy and extra long until I washed it. I suggest to buy this two sizes larger.I should start off by saying this is my first cover all I have ever purchased. So I'm not sure exactly how these are suppose to fit. I was looking for something that would be somewhat fitted because I don't wear too much close underneath and I hate baggy clothes. It fits well I guess. Just a little snug or small in some areas and the legs are comparable to relaxed fit jeans.Overall these are decent quality. I'm in and out of refineries everyday so it passes for me.IM 165 # 5'7 so orderd the small size . the front and waist and chest just great. but the problem is the seat of the covies their is a excess of 6-7 inches which is very baggie and looks like you are carrying a load of crap in your pants. I wear my for regular wear . its like the youth with their baggie low britches not my style . to me it disgusting . IM 73 . the quality is good but the tailoring is way off for me and would never order this brand again. the other brands I wear are not like this . also had to take to tailor and to shorten 2 1/2 " never hd to shorten others. in my life.I got this for my fiancé. Usually a small fits him but this was just too short. A medium would be better. It's great. Kinda stiff material. He works in the oil field and it's been about 90+ degrees for the past month. This keeps him cooler since he can open up the frontOutstanding construction but their sizes are REALLY off. I'm 6' and 180# and ordered an Extra Large so I can wear it over my regular clothes. The armpits are 2-3 inches baggy, the crotch is 3-4 inches baggy, and the pant legs are about 2 inches too long. Like another reviewer mentioned, the seat of coveralls is very baggy as well, so it looks like your carrying a load. For wear over normal clothes while I am welding, this will work fine. For everyday wear - not so much, unless you want to look droopy.its okI am 59" chest, but got a 60" gut.......ok.I know I should loose weight but it's going to be surgery not diet this or workout thatI am like a line backer, 6'-0" and a lot of muscle but after quitting smoking 3+ years ago put on 40+ pounds whichis around my waistBottom line, I could BARELY get it over my shoulders and zipped up (this is the 4XL size)then I could NOT get it off...so wife had to pull it off....same for the other one I bought BUT I could NOT pull it up over my shoulders, then got it to but could not get it off....wife had to pull it off...the sleeves were 4 inches too long and the legs were like 6-8" too longI had zippers put into the legs where you can pull them over a pair of boots easily, the alreation cost $45, but because these were so affordable to begin with, it was perfect! We need them only on occasion when we are going to customers who require flame retardent clothing on site. We are only there to deliver and then leave, so slip on type is exactly what we were looking for.
