I am not a golfer at all. I love this type of outer layer for fall or spring days when i don't want to wear a jacket, but can't go in just shirt sleeves. I also like this for wearing on airplanes. (I travel a lot). It is great to keep me warm on cold airplanes. and it is a bit classier than a sweatshirt. It is good quality sewing and material. Just what you would hope for. Should last a long time with proper care. It fits as expected for an XXL. i am quite pleased with it. I also like that it doesn't have a gaudy logo or emblem on it.I will take a moment to comment on this vendor. I placed my order and got the normal confirmation e mails. Then i got an e mail and a PHONE CALL from the vendor. They wanted to let me know the size and color I ordered was temporarily our of stock. A new shipment was due to arrive in a few days and they wanted to know if I wanted to cancel or modify my order. I was not in real rush, so I said, just ship it when it gets in. In a few days time, i got another e mail from them. the item had arrived and it was being shipped to me as we had discussed. It arrived only a day or two after it was to arrive in the first place. So, there was never a need to fret over the delivery. But, they went the extra mile to be sure I had a good experience. I appreciate that very much and wanted to say so. Thank you very much.I will note here that the sweater has a windproof liner on the inside. it makes some noise when you move around. I don't find that to be a problem at all for the way I use this garment. It is different from the garment I am retiring, so, if you want something that is silent and quiet, this might not be the item for you. But, i love it.
